New title submission

Currently, Scopus covers  18,000 titles from more than 5,000 publishers. Click here to download he Scopus title list. If you have a suggestion for a title that you think should be indexed in Scopus, please fill in the details below.

Title suggestions are evaluated by the Scopus Content Selection & Advisory Board (CSAB), which is a global network of researchers and librarians. Title suggestions are reviewed on a continuous basis thanks to a new title evaluation process. Because this change happened only recently, we cannot yet commit to a date, by when your title suggestion will be reviewed. Previously the review process was organized on a yearly basis, based on the submission deadline September 1st each year.

Please be aware that the evaluation of a title is not influenced by the number of times it is suggested.  Therefore, please avoid multiple submissions of the same title.  This will only cause us more work and might delay the evaluation.

Publishers/editors: Please be aware that you will be asked to provide sample PDFs as a final step in your title suggestion. It will not be possible to complete the process without having uploaded PDFs.

You will receive an email confirmation of your title suggestion within 24 hours.   After the review by the CSAB is completed,  we will inform you of the outcome of the evaluation.  Also, please be aware that our review of your title suggestion does not guarantee selection of the title.  In case you have any questions about the evaluation process or any other questions, you can contact us at contentqueries (at) elsevier (dot) com.

Thank you,

Agreement

I am aware of the general guidelines that Scopus uses to select titles. Scopus only allows titles for evaluation that meet the following minimum criteria:

    -  English-language abstracts;
    -  Peer review of items published in the title;
    -  A regular publication schedule;
    -  A registered ISSN number (print- and/or electronic);
    -  References in Roman script.

Scopus may not accept a title for review if it does not meet all of these criteria.
